The North Pole Extravaganza is a Retail Event usually held the second weekend in November.  This originated to kick off the Holiday shopping in Minneota.  You can find all sorts of sales in the retail stores, home based businesses, craft sales, and bake sales.  Just watch the newspaper and fliers around town, and you will find out what is happening where.

Slip into Spring in Minneota is a spin-off of the Extravaganza.  This is usually held a week or two before Easter and is also a Retail Event.  At this event, you can also find all sorts of sales going on, such as retail, home based, craft and bake sales.  For this event, watch the newspaper and the fliers around town, also.

Celebrate the Season is a retail event celebrating the Holiday Season.  The stores have sales going on, on a particular day each week in December.  This provides an opportunity to do your shopping in your hometown with lots of activities happening at the same time.  They, along with the Chamber, plan events such as Pictures with Santa, Caroling around town, sleigh rides around town, drawings for turkeys and hams, etc.  The Community Christmas Dinner was in conjunction with this last year.  The Chamber made and put on a free Community Christmas Dinner last year, serving anyone who wanted to come and enjoy the meal along with socializing in the Holiday Spirit with friends and neighbors.

Crazy Day is held in Minneota by the retail stores, and sponsored by the Chamber.  This is held on a Friday in July, and all participating stores have specials going on outside or inside; or both.  The last few years the Chamber has brought the KKCK Vault event wagon to town.  Come downtown Minneota and see what all of the excitement is about!!
